Last Saturday, Herne Hill Velodrome played host to the first track event held by the impressively named North London ThunderCat Black Metal Bicycle Club (NLTCBMBC), in collaboration with the LFGSS forum. We paid a visit to join in the heckling, have a few beers, and to contribute to the already substantial prize pot.  An impressive field made for an excellent afternoon's racing; 31 riders made up the Men's A and B races (featuring Jehu rider Owen Blandy), and 15 contested the Women's category - bolstered by a strong showing from our friends in Velociposse. As some of you may know (we certainly haven't been keeping it to ourselves), we recently joined forces with Velociposse - a new all-womens track cycling team based in London. Their attitude to riding and racing, as well as pushing to get more women involved in cycling, was something we thought mirrored our own. The riders are helping us with the ongoing development of new products, and will be representing the Jehu brand in their soon-to-be announced kit.
